2 Hour Tractor Driving Experience
If you have always wanted a proper go in a tractor, two hours at the controls is about as unambiguous as it gets.
Ultimate Tractor Driving gives you around two hours driving a modern agricultural tractor, with one-to-one instruction throughout. You start with the welcome, safety briefing and controls familiarisation before taking the wheel yourself and heading out onto the driving course.
This is not a quick lap and a photograph. There is time to get used to the scale of the machine, work through the basic manoeuvres and spend a substantial chunk of the day doing the bit you actually came for: driving the tractor.
For the Person Who Has Waited Long Enough
If someone in your life has ever stopped mid-conversation because a particularly impressive tractor has gone past, you may already have enough information.
This is the generous version: around two hours at the controls, one-to-one instruction and an open dated voucher valid for 12 months. You can give them the tractor now and let them choose the actual driving day later.

Two Hours at the Controls. No Half Measures.
Ultimate Tractor Driving is the longest solo experience in the current range, giving you around two hours behind the wheel of a modern agricultural tractor.
After the introduction and controls familiarisation, you take over under one-to-one instruction and drive around a specially designed course. There is time to work through the basic manoeuvres, get used to the tractor’s size and response, and build up far more familiarity with the machine than a short first go would allow.
You do not need previous tractor driving experience. The instructor is there to get you comfortable with the controls first and guide you through the session. By the end, you will have had plenty of time to get properly familiar with the machine and enjoy the simple fact that, for a couple of hours, you were the one driving the magnificent thing.
YOUR TURN NEXT
Two Hours.
No Need to Rush It.
You are not expected to turn up knowing how to operate a modern tractor. The session starts with the sensible stuff before handing over the part everybody is actually interested in: the controls.
With around two hours of driving time, there is space to learn the machine, work through the manoeuvres and enjoy the experience without feeling as though the clock is immediately chasing you.
Arrive & Get Briefed
Meet your instructor, run through the safety basics and find out how the session will work before you get near the controls.
Meet the Tractor
Climb into the cab and get familiar with the controls you will actually need. There are quite a few of them. Fortunately, this is why the instructor is there.
Take the Controls
With the basics covered, take the driver’s seat and start moving under one-to-one instruction, getting used to the tractor’s size and response.
Make a Proper Session of It
Drive the specially designed course and work through the basic manoeuvres, with around two hours at the controls to practise and enjoy the machine.
HOW MUCH TRACTOR DO YOU WANT?
This is the fullest solo option in the current range. Around two hours behind the wheel, one-to-one instruction and no need to pretend that a shorter go would have been enough. If that sounds excessive, excellent: there are shorter options below.

Useful Things to Know
The practical questions before you devote around two hours of your day to operating something with tyres roughly the size of garden sheds.
Do I really drive the tractor for around two hours?
Yes. The advertised driving time is around two hours at the controls, with the briefing and familiarisation around it. Allow roughly 2.5 hours for the overall visit.
Do I need previous tractor driving experience?

What do I actually do during the driving?
You drive a modern agricultural tractor around a specially designed course and work through the basic manoeuvres under instruction. Exact session details can vary by venue and conditions.

When does Ultimate Tractor Driving run?
The current operating season runs on selected dates from April to October, subject to availability.
Can I buy the 2 hour experience as a gift?
